This position is located in the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), Office of Communications and External Engagement, Communications Division. The incumbent will work with the Agency's webmaster to provide technical assistance and guidance to web authors on effective content and communication techniques on the Agency's public website.

You must include an SF-50 (you may need to submit more than one) that supports meeting this requirement with your application package.To qualify for the GS-13: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience comparable in difficulty and responsibility to at least the GS-12 level in the federal service. Examples of qualifying experience include the following types of tasks performed on a regular and recurring basis:Regular use of a Drupal content management system;Understanding and ability to review and remediate documents to meet Section 508 standards;Ability to convey to others the goals and expectations of the Agency's communication's plan;

ANDDeveloping web communications strategies using statistical analysis tools.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
