Our client, a Fortune 100 Credit Union, is seeking a talented

Jr. Graphic Designer

to support their corporate communications efforts. This hybrid role requires a creative professional with experience in both print and digital media to maintain consistent branding across all collateral. Schedule Type:

Hybrid with the expectation of reporting to campus a minimum of 2 days per week. Minimum 2 days/week REQUIRED.Hours:

This is an hourly W2 position, offering a compensation range of $25 to $32 per hour, based on experience. This is a Jr. Graphic Designer role.

Description:Assist with the design and maintenance of corporate communications artwork and related collateral in support of our client's products and services with a consistent branding strategy that aligns with our client's strategic goals. The role involves providing fundamental knowledge of design programs, principles, development standards, techniques, and methodologies and applying them to ensure a great user experience and alignment with the organization's overall objectives. The candidate will apply their expertise to solve a full range of moderately complex design problems and perform tasks with moderate scope and impact.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute design layouts and visual branding in support of products and services.Participate in strategic/conceptual development meetings with clients to determine project requirements, objectives, and creative direction.Serve as a creative resource on design and branding standards, vendor selection, production methods, and timelines.Collaborate closely with clients as a Trusted Advisor to create materials that meet or exceed expectations and comply with branding, trademark, and industry standards.Monitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule and collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met.Maintain consistency of designs, ensuring version control, publishing latest designs, and maintaining content management and other storage systems.Incorporate and leverage best industry practices while maintaining alignment with our client's goals and capabilities.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

Candidates must be local to either Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL to work a HYBRID schedule (2 days/week onsite & 3 days/ week remote).This is a W2 contract, we can not do 1099 or C2C arrangements at this time. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without a sponsoring employer indefinitely. At this time we can only accept the following: US Citizens, TN Visas, GC EADs, GC Holders.At least 1 year of experience in a corporate environment as a Graphic Designer.Experience using design programs and creating both print and online collateral.Working knowledge of design principles, development standards, techniques, and methodologies.Effective verbal and written communication.Experience participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects.Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or within a team to achieve goals.Experience with mainstream InDesign desktop publishing programs, Adobe Experience Manager, and other Adobe Creative Suite programs.Effective decision-making skills using good judgment and initiative.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong skills in compiling, organizing, and presenting information clearly and concisely.Professionalism and composure under pressure with flexibility.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Effective organizing, planning, and time management skills.Associate's degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
