Job Overview:
The Vice President of Marketing leads the marketing department and plays a key role in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the company's business objectives. This individual will manage a diverse team, optimize marketing operations, and ensure effective collaboration across departments such as sales, product development, and customer support.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy:Create and implement a cohesive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, market share, and customer loyalty. Oversee marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and brand messaging across all channels (digital, social media, content, PR, etc.). Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities. Ensure all marketing activities are consistent with the company’s brand positioning and objectives.
Brand Management:Develop and maintain the company's brand image, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and touchpoints. Drive brand positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and differentiates the company from competitors.
Digital Marketing and Lead Generation:Oversee the company’s digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media. Lead efforts to generate qualified leads for the sales team, leveraging a data-driven approach to optimize marketing spend and customer acquisition costs (CAC). Stay current with digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Budgeting and Financial Management:Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Measure the ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data and analytics to inform decisions and optimize performance. Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial forecasts and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Collaboration with Other Departments:Work closely with product, sales, and customer support teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives and customer needs. Support product development by providing customer insights and market trends. Partner with the sales team to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
Public Relations and Communications:Oversee the company’s PR and media relations strategy, ensuring positive media coverage and crisis communication. Serve as the primary spokesperson for marketing-related initiatives when necessary. Develop internal communications that promote company values and culture.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and lead generation.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large marketing teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Knowledge of the latest marketing technologies and tools.
Experience marketing in a healthcare environment.
