The Office of Communications and Marketing is comprised of a high performing team responsible for advancing the university’s reputation and telling GW’s story through a diverse array of university channels, including digital and web properties and publications, multimedia and web properties, creative services, publications, media relations and paid marketing efforts across the university. This office drives the strategy and tactics for highlighting and raising the visibility of the university’s experts, initiatives, and accomplishments.The Office of Communications and Marketing seeks a temporary Email Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Enrollment and Marketing Director, the Email Marketing Specialist aids in planning, developing, and implementing email marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversion.The key responsibilities for this position are:Migrating email campaigns from Salesforce to Slate. Ensure email templates and layouts are accurately replicated.Use basic HTML/coding knowledge for formatting adjustments.Work with team to ensure smooth and accurate transition of campaigns.Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.Minimum Qualifications:The assignment will be one month starting 11/1/24 and ending 12/1/24.Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Salesforce and/or Slate is beneficial but not required.Basic understanding of HTML/coding.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Campus Location:
