About Us:

Prep Baseball Tournaments is a leading organization in amateur baseball, hosting top-level events across the country for high school and youth players. Our mission is to help athletes showcase their talent to college coaches and professional scouts while delivering high-quality, competitive baseball tournaments.

We are seeking a motivated Marketing and Social Media Intern to help us grow our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote The Lumber Yard through various marketing channels.

Position Overview:

The Marketing and Social Media Intern will assist the Lumber Yard staff with content creation, social media management, digital marketing campaigns, and brand development. The intern will work closely with tournament staff to promote events, share real-time content, and engage with our baseball community across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Threads. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports marketing, social media, and baseball.

Key Responsibilities:•Content Creation: Assist in creating and curating engaging content (images, videos, graphics, and written posts) for social media platforms to highlight PBR Tournament events, athletes, and results.•Social Media Management: Help manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to messages and comments.•Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on social media engagement metrics (followers, reach, engagement rates, etc.) and provide insights for optimizing future campaigns.•Email Marketing: Assist in drafting and distributing email newsletters, updates, and promotional content to our database of coaches and organization owners.•Collaborations: Work with the marketing team on partnerships, promotions, and giveaways that align with PBT's goals.•Brand: Ensure all content is consistent with PBT's brand and enhances our community's engagement.

Qualifications:•Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.•Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter (X), Facebook, and Threads.•Strong communication and writing skills, with a creative approach to content creation.•Passion for baseball and understanding of the youth and amateur sports landscape is a plus.•Basic knowledge of graphic design (and Canva); Knowledge of Reel Creation is a bonus.•Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
