Job Purpose:

Serve as the primary liaison between purchasing and aftermarket to ensure timely fulfillment of purchasing demands for aftermarket products.

Essential Functions:

• Work closely with the CSR Manager to understand customer needs and expectations, and with the Inventory Manager to optimize inventory levels and procurement strategies.• Handle the procurement process for aftermarket-specific items such as Taylor, chains, tubelines, etc. This includes sourcing, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals.• Address any issues or discrepancies related to purchased items, such as late deliveries or product defects, by communicating effectively with vendors and taking appropriate corrective actions.• Keep accurate records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor communications. Update internal systems with relevant information for tracking and reporting purposes.

Experience/Training/Education:

Required:

High School Degree or equivalent. 1 year experience in related position or field.

Desired:

2+ years in related position or field.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems or procurement software.• Knowledge of purchasing best practices, inventory management principles, and supplier relationship management.

Physical and Environmental Elements:

This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, typewriter keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports and records that typically weigh less than 30 pounds.
