Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Communications team at Arthrex is growing with our new StudioX open and we are actively searching for an Audio Visual Event Specialist.

This position will be located on our corporate campus in Naples, FL.

Primary responsibility will be to work with Meetings & Events and third-party Stakeholders to support initiatives including but not limited to planning Audio-Visual for and attending events.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work directly with internal stake holders, third-party partners and vendors for all event related needsConduct Site Visits and recaps with clients based on their availability.Work with the Event Support team to collaborate on floor plans, stage design, and the scheduling of technicians for third-party events.Responsible as main point of contact for on-site execution of third-party events taking place during business hours or in the evening. Responsible for overseeing load-in and load-out of events.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, understand their AV needs and provide appropriate solutions.Creating quotes and working with Meetings & Events for invoice processingGuide pre-planning and client deadlines for seamless execution of event details.Work closely with technical, meeting planners, marketing, media production and project management teams.Attending weekly meetings providing status reports on upcoming and previous events as required.Work within the AV ticket system to keep event tickets updated and current.Work with Events leadership to triage new in-house event requests.Provide backup support services for in-house events or studio productions.Work with Arthrex Exhibit team to coordinate offsite event rigging and lighting needs with third party contractors.Work with Arthrex Expense team on invoices for Third parties as well as offsite exhibits.Skills:Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.Effective time management skills.Excellent communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-through.Outstanding listening skills with the ability to empathize and focus on client service.Demonstrate initiative in the resolution of problems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities.Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in an understandable manner.Creative problem-solving skills to design and implement effective AV solutions for diverse event needs.Ability to enhance event experiences through innovative use of AV technology.Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required7 years of related experience or Associate degree and 4 years of related experience requiredKnowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:Planning, organizing, and execution of live productions. Effective communication and customer service skills.
