The Role: As an Account Director, Public Relations, you will run accounts autonomously, driving the overarching account strategy while ensuring the team understands their roles and responsibilities. You will be the main client contact for nuanced conversations and will drive strategy and deliverables, ensuring results each quarter. Duties and Responsibilities:
Account and Client Management Travel for client needs Create, execute, delegate, and course correct overarching account strategies Implement strategies and oversee performance of KPIs Act as a trusted partner to clients Oversee scopes of work and direct teams to conduct meaningful work Monitor team activity to ensure they stay within budgets Lead your team by providing clear guidance and resources Design impactful PR campaigns and activations Manage conversations with clients relating to contract renewals Understand client goals and lead account strategy Media Relations Create pitches that lead to significant media placements Guide teams to appropriate media for story ideas Nurture A-list media relationships New Business Provide thought leadership for new business proposals Attend new business meetings as the voice of account leadership Build and foster a personal network of contacts Team Leadership Lead and mentor team members Motivate your team to keep them engaged Manage direct reports and provide feedback Requirements:
Ability to travel for client needs Strong relationships with media contacts Effective management skills Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Excellent communication and organizational skills Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner High-energy self-starter Proven ability to handle time-sensitive projects Must have a valid passport for international travel Experience:
