ASRC Federal is seeking a Data Librarian to support the Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC) program, with a focus on ensuring efficient and secure data processing, management, and communication. This role involves collaborating with customers, managing data requests, and facilitating data handling operations in a secured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Request Processing: Collect and process ad hoc data requests using secure procedures, and guide users through the MDDC and MDA Data Center Program (DCP) registration process.
- Customer Collaboration: Interface with customers regarding MDDC capabilities and provide on-site data handling support.
- Database Management: Update and maintain the MDDC data request database to ensure accuracy and security.
- Early Test Planning: Provide support for early test planning by coordinating with other government programs, ensuring MDDC involvement in processes and procedures.
- Process Development: Develop and refine processes to improve data handling and reporting efficiency.
- Briefing Development: Create and deliver briefings on MDDC capabilities and provide status updates to current customers.
- Electronic Data Transfers: Facilitate secure electronic data transfers following test events.
- Technical Writing: Support technical writing and proofread data items for accuracy as needed. Organize and gather program-related information.
Requirements
Required:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent
- 1-5 years of experience
Preferred:
- Experience with handling of classified data on various media types
- Experience working in a schedule-driven team environment
