ASRC Federal Netcentric Technologies, LLC is seeking a SeniorTechnical Writerin support of the Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico. KEOS is a base maintenance/operations support-type contract, also known as BMC or BOS.

ASRC Federal Netcentric Technologies, LLC is seeking a SeniorTechnical Writerin support of the Kirtland AFB Engineering Operations Services (KEOS) contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico. KEOS is a base maintenance/operations support-type contract, also known as BMC or BOS.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical writing support for documentation needs in the construction project planning and engineering departments, ensuring all materials are accurate, consistent, clear, and meet organizational standards.
- Provide for quality control/assurance by conducting regular checks that all team members are following best practices and are complying with established formats.
- Review and edit construction project deliverables, such as Statements of Work (SOW), front-end project specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements and formatting standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team and to refine front-end specifications for projects to ensure they align with project objectives and technical standards across the portfolio.
- Assist project teams to develop and document Courses of Action (COA) for various projects, providing clear and actionable plans.
- Support the planning and initiation of projects through the development of technical project documents.
- Prepare and coordinate document packages for USAF-specific project processes and milestones.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in applied science (Architectural/Engineering Technology, Drafting, Planning or related degree); relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of five years' experience related to construction planning, design, and/or execution.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles in the context of technical documentation associated with cradle-to-grave construction project management.
- Possess and employ excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Be able to take initiative and work independently without direct supervision.
- Be able to collect, analyze, and summarize data and processes.
- Possess competent and effective computer skills to include using Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Must have proficient English oral and written communication skills sufficient to effectively communicate with employees, management, and customers.
- Must be a US citizen and currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- Experience working in a military environment and familiarity with US Air Force Civil Engineering guidance, rules, and regulations.
