Requirements / Qualifications
Must hold a valid Single Subject Music Credential or verification of completion of credential program.

The following documents are REQUIRED to be submitted with your online application:

•Single Subject Music Credential* or
Transcripts (Required for all Pre-interns)
•EL Authorization (must provide proof if it is not embedded in California Credential)
•Two (2) recent professional letters of recommendation (within one year)**
•CBEST (optional)
*Credential Copy (Must show Subject Description, expiration date and EL Authorization)
*Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, or Program Director. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.

Computers and scanners are available for applicant use in the Human Resources Department Office located at 2271 W. Louise Ave., Manteca.

MUSD offers In-House Teacher Induction Program at no cost.
MUSD accepts up to twenty-one (21) years of full-time school years.
