Only considering candidates with the following:
- Bachelors degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to simplify and document complex processes and technical content for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Experience with version control systems, content management systems (CMS), and project management tools.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements in the industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial gasses, fiber technology, or manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a global organization with cross-functional and international teams.
- Knowledge of software development practices, industrial processes, or relevant technical standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain documentation: Create and revise technical documentation such as user manuals, safety guidelines, installation instructions, and process workflows.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts: Work closely with engineers, researchers, product managers, and operational teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
- Simplify complex concepts: Translate highly technical content into clear, concise, and accessible materials for diverse audiences, ensuring understanding and compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance: Align all documentation with Air Liquide's safety protocols, regulatory standards, and quality assurance requirements.
- Visual aids: Create and integrate visual elements such as diagrams, flowcharts, and images to enhance comprehension of complex technical instructions and processes.
- Maintain version control: Regularly update documentation to reflect changes in technologies, systems, or regulations while managing version control and ensuring the availability of up-to-date materials.
- Documentation audits: Perform regular audits of existing documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness across all formats.
- Coordinate with global teams: Collaborate with international teams to ensure documentation consistency across regions and languages where necessary.
