The Opportunity
Planview is looking for a savvy, results-oriented, and self-driven Field Marketing Manager to drive regional awareness and build pipeline in a fast-paced and competitive market. This role is critical in supporting all pipeline-generating activities, with a key focus on Target Accounts.
The ideal candidate will thrive in an agile, cross-functional go-to-market environment, partnering with marketing, sales and product teams to build and execute high-impact, multi-channel campaigns, while continuously analyzing and optimizing results.
Reporting to the Director, Account Based Marketing, the Field Marketing Manager should be bold in testing new approaches, unafraid to fail fast, and focused on driving results. Demand will come from a combination of targeted digital marketing programs and in-person and virtual events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how to generate qualified interest across the US and Canada markets, creating in-person and virtual events that effectively generate pipeline. What You'll Do
- Event Management:
- Plan and execute regional marketing events, including trade shows, webinars, and customer events to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event themes, agendas, and promotional materials.
- Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and budgets, including contract negotiations, to ensure successful event execution.
- Develop and execute lead-nurturing strategies post-event to convert event attendees into qualified sales opportunities.
- Work closely with Enterprise Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to ensure timely and effective follow-up with event leads.
- Digital Marketing:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid social and online advertising, to drive interest and registrations for in-person and virtual events.
- Marketing Automation:
- Utilize Salesforce and Marketo to track event performance, manage leads, and optimize marketing automation processes.
- Analyze campaign performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of events, improve conversion rates, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work with product, brand, partner, and content marketing teams to create compelling messaging and develop content that resonates with target audience.
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives, SDRs and sales leadership to ensure end-to-end alignment, engagement, and execution of events.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership to keep stakeholders updated on event progress, performance, and pipeline impact.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to assess the success of events and inform future strategies.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve overall marketing effectiveness and ROI.
What You'll Bring
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS software marketing, demand generation, and sales processes
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- 2+ years of years of B2B event creation, coordination, and execution experience
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in latest B2B event trends
- Knowledge of B2B marketing automation, email marketing (Marketo) is strongly preferred
- Experience and passion for performance optimization paired with strong analytical skills and metrics driven decision making
- Experience working with Salesforce.com to evaluate performance and ROI
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
