Team Overview

We are a team of audience insights specialists that play a crucial role in understanding audience behavior and preferences. As experts in consumer data, analysis, and MarTech - we gather valuable insights to help our clients make informed decisions and develop effective marketing strategies, utilizing the industry's most robust dataset in Omnicom's proprietary platform - Omni. We're looking for curious colleagues, who enjoy learning more about data, insights tools, and meeting the ever-changing needs of the industry.

Position Overview

The Sr. Director will function as a senior liaison with partner companies across Omnicom (OMC). This role as a MarTech SME will include converting business needs into actionable outcomes as a consulting layer within the organization. This role requires inherent project management to efficiently work with clients, agency leaders and internal leadership. The consulting layer will focus on closely working on cross-agency relationships and continually reviewing capabilities and maintain expert knowledge of these capabilities as they apply to our partners' needs.

As such, the key responsibility of the role will be to interpret the existing OMC data and technology and map solutions through the offering. It will further require an ability to provide guidance and oversight of the implementation to achieve the appropriate solution, as it applies to subject matter expert allocation and deployment, data, and technology access.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for consultative engagements around data and technology
  • Identifies Data Driven/Analytical business-building opportunities, solutions and growth areas either for Omnicom agencies or in partnership for Omnicom clients Aligned
  • Accountable for the delivery of data driven solutions across Omnicom partner agencies, including ongoing refinement, implementation, and maintenance of processes, practices, tools and talent
  • Demonstrate highly visible leadership with a willingness to deeply research and understand our client's business issues
  • Aligning business to metrics to show measurable results that links data to the creative product
  • Strong understanding of how all our solutions work and effectively articulate how the current landscape impacts the Client's business
  • Evangelizing and education around data solutions to our respective partners
  • Ensure that the data and technology solutions are delivered in a simplified and client-oriented manner - explain methodology simply, clearly and anecdotally around all data and analytical solutions, services, platforms and practices
  • Able to provide business-like translation to complex data analytics solutions so that solutions are understood by marketers; and that agencies can sell repeatable offerings

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience with a mix of agency, consulting and client side, data and advertising technology
  • Strong advertising technology subject matter expertise, including the ability to associate data solutions with technological requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, allowing the candidate to interact with senior most colleagues across OMC partner groups and associated teams.
  • Proactive and excellent follow through skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in breaking down complex client needs and challenges into clear opportunities
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary topics surrounding digital data, including first party data and CRM, third party data ecosystem, clean rooms, data management platforms, and cross-device tracking
  • Articulate and comfortable speaking with diverse audiences, including clients, demonstrating the ability to translate technical subject matter into relatable business terminology, identify and adapt to the appropriate approach to fit your audience, and respond to unexpected questions on the spot
  • Experience working in an agency environment and knowledge of the agency media campaign planning and execution process is highly desirable, but not required---agencies are exciting places to work with a variety of projects moving fast, having first-hand experience will help someone quickly ramp up
  • Must have STRONG PowerPoint and verbal presentation skills

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$157,000-$225,000 USD
