AEG is hiring: Social Media Intern in Mequon

An entry-level position providing hands-on experience in collegiate summer baseball. Join the Lakeshore Chinooks for the summer to gain a behind-the-scenes experience like no other. You'll learn the ins and outs of a sport organization within the Northwoods League. This is a non-paid, for college credit or work experience position.

The Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating, managing and posting content on the Chinooks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and Snapchat. During this internship, you will be creating new and original content to post throughout the season, keep up with social media trends and follow insights on all platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with Chinooks social media strategy and focus on content, ideation, capture,development, publishing and analysis
• Content creation for team's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,TikTok and Snapchat)
• Capture and share unique, behind-the-scenes photos and videos of staff/coaches/players
• Write and post original captions, tweets, etc.
• Monitor and reply to fan comments, messages and questions on social platforms
• Track and analyze the team's social media activity and user engagement
• Find and share emerging social media practices and trends with the social media team to be implemented

• Promote team and promotions using unique marketing techniques
• Quality and accuracy of work
• Must be available for all Chinooks home games (which include weeknights, weekends and someholidays)
• Completion of assigned tasks on schedule
  •Cooperation, responsiveness, dependability and proper attitude in dealing with others including co-workers and customers
• Conformance to company personnel, safety, quality and housekeeping policies, procedures and practices
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a current student (undergraduate or graduate)
• Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization as well as outside contacts
• Strong time management and attention to detail
