This is an essential and exciting role for a creative, curious, and driven Lead Content Manager who is accountable for developing and managing an integrated content strategy for our eCommerce website, aimed at producing high-quality, SEO-optimized content that improves user experience and increases brand visibility and excitement.
Lead Content Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a content strategy tailored to the eCommerce platform, focusing on key areas such as product descriptions, category pages, and landing pages.
- Implement and maintain SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and enhance customer experience
- Use content management systems (CMS) to publish, update, and manage website content, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards
- Monitor and analyze website content performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize user engagement and sales
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators including copywriters, editors, and designers ensuring content is engaging, accurate and optimized for SEO
- Stay up to date with eCommerce trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best practices to continuously improve the website's content strategy
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in content management, with a focus on eCommerce websites in a leadership role
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, E-commerce, or related
- Expertise in SEO and eCommerce content strategies
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and web analytic tools
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and digital merchandising principals
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Experience leading a team of content specialists
- Have a passion for creative storytelling to bring the products to life!
- Very competitive salary $90k-$100k DOE
