This is an essential and exciting role for a creative, curious, and driven Lead Content Manager who is accountable for developing and managing an integrated content strategy for our eCommerce website, aimed at producing high-quality, SEO-optimized content that improves user experience and increases brand visibility and excitement.

Lead Content Manager Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a content strategy tailored to the eCommerce platform, focusing on key areas such as product descriptions, category pages, and landing pages.
Implement and maintain SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and enhance customer experience
Use content management systems (CMS) to publish, update, and manage website content, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards
Monitor and analyze website content performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize user engagement and sales
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators including copywriters, editors, and designers ensuring content is engaging, accurate and optimized for SEO
Stay up to date with eCommerce trends, emerging technologies, and content marketing best practices to continuously improve the website's content strategy

Lead Content Manager Requirements:

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in content management, with a focus on eCommerce websites in a leadership role
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, E-commerce, or related
Expertise in SEO and eCommerce content strategies
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and web analytic tools
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and digital merchandising principals
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Experience leading a team of content specialists
Have a passion for creative storytelling to bring the products to life!

Lead Content Manager Benefits:

Very competitive salary $90k-$100k DOE
