Job Title: Assistant Community Manager
Location: Onsite in NE Portland
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary Range: $20-$24 per hour

Contract Duration: 2-3 month contract with potential for permanent hire

 

Job Summary: The Assistant Community Manager will assist in the daily operations of property management, including tenant relations, administrative tasks, and property maintenance coordination. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and a passion for helping people.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Conduct property tours and highlight the features and benefits of the community.

  • Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information.

  • Process rental applications and conduct background checks.

  • Prepare and execute lease agreements.

  • Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities.

  • Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.

  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors.

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and property metrics as requested.

  • Ensure compliance with property management policies and procedures.



 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in property management or leasing.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in real estate or property management is a plus.



Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
