We are an independent film production company led by a NY-SF based Producer/Founder dedicated to telling inclusive, impactful stories that advance culture and amplify diverse voices—particularly those of people of color and women—in film and television. As we continue to evolve, we’re seeking a skilled Web Developer & Designer to help reimagine our online presence.
This is a remote, freelance opportunity, perfect for someone who values collaboration, innovation, and the art of digital design. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creative problem-solving, and experience designing functional, aesthetically compelling websites, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design simple, intuitive websites using Squarespace (initial build with potential for future expansion).
- Work closely with the Producer/Founder to refine project goals and deliver dynamic design solutions that meet client needs.
- Craft custom layouts and ensure user-friendly navigation that prioritizes both function and form.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication throughout the development process, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
Qualifications:
- At least two portfolio samples showcasing previous web development and design work.
- Experience with Squarespace is preferred, though other relevant web-building experience is welcome.
- A creative background in design, with a strong eye for aesthetics and user experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
