Political Reporter Covering San Francisco City Hall And How Decisions Affect City Departments And Neighborhoods
Mission Local 
During this election season, Mission Local vastly expanded election coverage, following the supervisor races in all six contested districts. The focus of this position is to capitalize on that reporting, by expanding ongoing political coverage of City Hall. The political reporter makes connections between what happens in the neighborhoods to what happens at City Hall, developing in-depth knowledge of neighborhoods and city departments.

Salary and Benefits:
$60,000 to $75,000

Health insurance, two weeks of vacation plus one week established by the site near Labor Day and another between Christmas and New Years. All Federal holidays.

This position will be:
Fully in-person at an office

Moving Stipend:
No moving stipend will be provided.
