General Music and Strings Teacher Elementary

Location: Burlington Public Schools, Burlington, Massachusetts

Description:

General Music and Strings Teacher Elementary - to cover a maternity leave of absence.

Position: General Music and Strings Teacher Elementary

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach lessons to students in small groups, grades 4-5.
  2. Rehearse ensembles of string students.
  3. Co-teach General Music and Chorus grades K-5.

Requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree or higher in Music Education.
  2. Massachusetts Teacher Certification.
  3. Experience preferred.
  4. Appropriate skills on violin, viola, cello, and bass.

Compensation: In accordance with the Burlington Educators' Association Unit A contract.

Start Date: Approximately April 20 through the end of the 2024/2025 school year.
