Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and update technical documentation and content adhering to formatting, content and style guidelines.
  2. Develop and update online content and training materials.
  3. Develop processes and procedures for keeping documentation up to date.
  4. Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson.
  5. Make editorial and aesthetic improvements to documents and recommend new designs, layouts, and procedures.
  6. Act in a self-directed, consultant role to determine and understand internal and external customer needs for documentation.
  7. Serve as a coach and mentor for other writers on the team.

Qualifications

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  2. At least 5 years as a technical writer, editor, or content strategist.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong bias for action and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  1. Wiki experience.
