JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Social Media & Content Creator to bring our brand stories to life across digital platforms. This role will focus on managing social media, creating compelling content, and supporting marketing initiatives for Round Barn and Tabor Hill. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, experience with digital marketing, and the ability to balance creativity with strategic execution.
Social Media Marketing
- Plan, develop, and execute social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
- Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, reels, and videos that align with brand voice and goals.
- Respond to comments, messages, and tags to foster community engagement and maintain brand consistency.
- Stay updated on social media trends and platform updates to ensure strategies remain innovative and effective.
Content Creation
- Develop high-quality, brand-aligned content, including written, visual, and video assets, to support marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Use tools like Canva to design visually appealing graphics and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative ideas for new content and campaigns.
- Write and edit copy for social media, email marketing, blogs, and digital ads.
Photography and Videography
- Capture photos and videos of products, events, and experiences for use across digital platforms.
- Edit and optimize content for various formats and channels.
- Organize and maintain a library of digital assets for marketing use.
Digital Marketing Support
- Assist in crafting email marketing campaigns and maintaining contact lists.
- Collaborate on website updates, ensuring content is accurate and engaging.
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media and content campaigns to identify areas for improvement.
- Support search engine optimization (SEO) efforts by conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and improving metadata.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing insights to inform SEO strategies and marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management and content creation.
- Proficiency in Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of photography and videography; experience with iPhone photography and videography is a strong plus.
- Previous experience in an agency setting is a plus, providing a fast-paced, multi-client perspective, but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to create visually compelling content using Canva (or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing and SEO.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative.
Additional Requirements

- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to capture content during events or promotions.
