Job Title: Japanese Language Interpreter

Role Summary

We are looking for a Japanese Language Interpreter who can support in high-level meetings and seminars (simultaneous/consecutive/bilateral).

Responsibilities

Candidates shall mainly be supporting bilingual conversations in high-level meetings, C-Suite meetings, conferences, events, or product demos.

Prerequisites

  1. Qualification
    • Candidate must be a graduate.
    • Candidate must hold any of the below certifications/degrees:
      • Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1/N2/L1/L2
      • Master's degree in Japanese Language
      • Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language
  2. Experience
    • Candidates must have relevant interpretation (simultaneous/consecutive/bilateral) experience in the IT industry.
    • He/She must have experience in interpretation in high-level meetings, C-Suite meetings, conferences, events, or product demos.
  3. Other Skills
    • The candidate must be fluent in communicating in both languages, Japanese and English.
    • Any additional skills, certifications, and knowledge are also welcome.

Specialization Description

Responsible for the translation and integration of software, websites, and technical documents into the local language. Analyzes, designs, and develops an infrastructure that facilitates a common interface for globalization and localization requirements. Performs and creates scripts, tools, and language-specific character encodings to support international languages. Ensures accuracy and consistency in translations and revisions of technical terms, terminology, and methodologies. Maintains localization tools, including documentation and training/technical support for the localization process and recommends improvements as necessary. Expertise in language localization tools (e.g., World Server translation memories, SDLX, Trados, etc.).
