Job Description

Performs routine library duties at the Western History Collections reference desk. Assists patrons in the reading room. Retrieves and shelves library and manuscript materials on a daily basis. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required Education: Must be enrolled in the Spring Term as a student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Must attach Spring 2025 class schedule.

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Regular bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, and climbing stairs.

Department Preferences:

  • Some library and/or office experience.
  • Aptitude for detailed work, ability to follow instructions, and ability to speak clear, concise English.
