Elementary Music Teacher - Anticipated Opening
Location: Acton Boxborough Re, Acton, Massachusetts
Description: The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District is seeking a collaborative, skilled, and warm Elementary Music Teacher to join our Performing Arts staff at the Gates Elementary School. Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of the MA Arts curriculum frameworks and be prepared to implement a robust and culturally responsive curriculum. Our elementary music team meets regularly to share ideas and engage in relevant professional learning. In addition to elementary music classes, the music teacher will hold one section of Chorus during the school day open to interested 5th and 6th grade students.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in music from an accredited college or university.
- MA DESE Teaching License in Music, All Levels.
- Prior teaching experience with elementary school-aged children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree preferred.
