General Description: Assists marketing department with writing projects.

Required Qualifications: Current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours for Fall or Spring semester or a minimum of 3 hours for Summer semester OR Current OCCC student with a Federal Work Study award.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
General Physical Requirements: Sedentary work: The person in this position may occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Physical Activities: This position requires the person to frequently move about the center to assist students and perform the essential functions of the position. This position requires the person to frequently communicate with and listen to students, faculty, and staff to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations. This position frequently requires the person to operate and inspect a computer and other Writing Center equipment to assist and/or instruct students on proper operation.
Visual Acuity: This position requires the person to view a computer multiple hours in a day. They are asked to judge, observe and assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
Working Conditions: This position performs the essential functions in an indoor center, classroom, or office setting.
