Position: Instructional Designer

W2 or 1099 Contract (Through June 2025)

Hybrid - Richmond, KY

Our client's Department of Criminal Justice Training seeks an Instructional Designer/eLearning Specialist. The position is hybrid, with three days on-site, and two remote.

Education:

1. Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design and technology, educational development, or equivalent.
2. Prefer Master's in Instructional Design.

Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience with Articulate Storyline.
2. Prefer three years of Instructional Design experience along with government experience.
3. Prefer video editing experience.

Responsibilities:

The eLearning specialist will be responsible for supporting the ADDIE (Analysis, Development, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation) process. This support includes online (Asynchronized), virtual (Synchronized), and classroom classes. This position will serve as an advisor, recommender, and supporter for developing and designing various eLearning courses. Responsibilities include:

1. Recording and editing videos.
2. Creating training material, including Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) files.
3. Recommending course flow within the Learning Management System (LMS).
4. Coordinating quality control and testing of all training classes developed in the LMS.
