We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Online Community Manager for a consumer facing brand. The role involves managing online communities, driving brand engagement, and creating a positive brand association.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and moderate online communities, ensuring a positive and engaging environment.
• Drive proactive engagement with the brand, leveraging and guiding users towards brand resources.
• Create positive associations with the brand through effective community management.
• Engage authentically with users and communities, fostering a sense of connection and loyalty.
• Execute tactical strategies within online communities to drive organic reactions.
• Utilize social media platforms such as Reddit, Facebook, and Discord to drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Maintain brand consistency and positioning across all online communities.
• Develop and execute social campaigns to increase brand awareness and attract new community members.
• Oversee community marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with overall brand messaging and experiences.
• Manage social content and engagement across various social media channels.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the banking, consumer goods, brands, or social media
• Demonstrable skills in brand awareness and positioning
• Proficient in using Reddit for community engagement and brand promotion
• Prior experience as a Brand Ambassador is desirable
• Ability to create and manage brand experiences, ensuring brand consistency
• Expertise in brand messaging and storytelling to enhance consumer brand engagement
• Proven record of driving and increasing brand awareness
• Experience in community marketing and community relations
• Knowledge of building, managing, and engaging online communities
• Skilled in planning and executing social campaigns
• Ability to curate social content that resonates with the brand's audience
• Experience in boosting social engagement across various platforms, including Reddit, Facebook groups, and Discord
• Proficiency in using social media channels for brand promotion and community engagement
• Competency in social media management including planning, scheduling, posting, and analyzing content
• Experience in social networking and using various social platforms to increase brand presence.
***PLEASE NOTE: This is a part-time role requiring regular weekend work, on Saturdays and Sundays every week.
