Senior Director of Brand Marketing & Strategy

will be a dynamic leader, responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies while overseeing creative direction across all brand channels. This includes overseeing brand identity, visual assets, and marketing campaigns that elevate the Schoolhouse brand, ensuring a consistent and innovative brand presence. You will work cross-functionally with design, product, and customer experience teams to ensure brand coherence and align marketing efforts with company goals. This is a leadership position that will inspire a creative and results-driven marketing team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Brand Strategy & Creative Leadership:

Lead the development of a comprehensive brand marketing strategy that aligns with Schoolhouse’s vision, values, and long-term goals. Oversee the creative direction to ensure all brand assets reflect the unique blend of craftsmanship, design, and sensibility that defines Schoolhouse. Campaign & Content Direction:

Lead the creative development of integrated marketing campaigns—from digital advertising, social media, and email to print. Ensure campaigns are visually compelling, on-brand, and resonate with our target customers. Visual Identity Oversight:

Guide the evolution and execution of the Schoolhouse brand’s visual identity across all marketing and product channels. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure consistency, originality, and high design standards are maintained across every touchpoint. Customer-Centric Marketing:

Work closely with the product, design, and customer experience teams to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with customer needs, delivering a cohesive and immersive experience that speaks to our audience’s values. Team Leadership & Development:

Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing and creative team, fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and personal growth. Market Insights & Analytics:

Utilize data and consumer insights to refine brand strategies, optimize campaigns, and measure the impact of marketing efforts on brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. Collaboration:

Partner closely with senior leadership to ensure brand marketing strategies align with overall business goals, ensuring consistency in messaging and positioning across all functions. Brand Partnerships & Alliances:

Identify and lead opportunities for brand partnerships, creative collaborations, and influencer marketing to enhance brand visibility and grow new customer segments. QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of experience in brand marketing and creative direction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in a consumer goods, lifestyle, or home brand. Proven track record in leading both marketing strategy and creative development, with experience in managing visual identity, campaigns, and digital/print media. Expertise in brand storytelling, and translating a brand vision into tangible creative assets. Strong understanding of modern marketing channels (social media, digital advertising, email, print) and how to creatively engage consumers across these platforms. Exceptional leadership, communication, and team management skills, with the ability to inspire creative minds and drive innovative marketing solutions. A strong portfolio that demonstrates creative vision, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive brand success across multiple platforms. Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform and optimize creative decisions. BA/BS in Marketing, Design, or related field preferred. COMPENSATION The target pay range for this role is between $170,000 - $190,000. This is an exempt role and is eligible to participate in the annual bonus program.
