Aside from the job description, can you provide an overview of what a day for this contractor will look like? This contractor will primarily serve a support role to the event leads and help execute ***'s presence at strategic thrid party conferences and events. A day in the life in the role could look like aligning with the event lead and participating in weekly calls to communicate and finalize the onsite staffing plan, ensure all *** attendees are registered and have accommodations, partnering with content leads to ensure we have all slides and demo materials added to our trackers ahead of the event, driving the pre during and post sales meeting booking process and ensuring we're tracking each completed meeting, building overview slides that live within larger launch decks or all hands meetings informing the team how to register, book a staffing shift, or schedule a meeting. This role would also require some travel to support the events onsite. When onsite, this person would be expected to staff the event and engage attendees, collect leads, and ensure everything runs smoothly. I understand this is approximately a 02/03/2025 to 08/02/2025 contract. Any possibility of extension or going perm? 6. This role is located in Colorado - Denver. Can this position be fully remote? Yes Does this worker need to by any hubs? No. If hire is based in SF, Chicago, or Denver, I would expect them come into the office 2-3 days per week. If the role requires the worker to be onsite? Yes, traveling to events 1-3 times per quarter. If hire is based in SF, Chicago, or Denver, I would expect them come into the office 2-3 days per week. 7. Any specific time zones this candidate will need to work to accommodate? Most of the team is on PST, but United States time zones only. 8. How many interview rounds and will there be any assessments? 2-3 rounds with a short assignment to vet experience and ability. 9. Any other critical details to note for our suppliers? Were team of 6 that execute 20 third party events every year that support all of ***'s products and top clouds including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, App Dev & Trusted Services, MuleSoft, and Tableau. Every team member oversees a specific portfolio of events taht align to specidfic products. We're part of a larger third party events team where the other half of the team delivers 17 indsutry-focused events every year. Our team occasionally as the opportunity to support our industry events as well and when bandwidth permits.

The *** Strategic Events team is searching for an organized, passionate self-starter to join our team as an Event Associate Manager contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day to day management of 8+ third party events including but not limited to general project management, agency management and budgeting. These third party events help us drive awareness and material pipeline for our entire cloud, or product, business. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Events, this role will assist with ensuring operational excellence and success for pre, on-site, and post-event planning.

This individual will support our event leads by owning key operational pillars of the event planning process, supporting agency relations, and working cross-functionally with all internal stakeholders to ensure our events run flawlessly. This position requires individuals who can work both independently and as part of a larger team in making decisions important to the success of the events.

Responsibilities:

* Participate in and support the planning, production, and execution for a variety of *** third-party events by creating and coordinating event logistics documentation, event timelines, speaker and executive communications, budgets, and other critical materials. * Work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with other teams, including Product Marketing, Creative, Field Marketing, Sales Enablement and more, to bring *** and our products to life at events and keep cross-functional teams abreast of event plans that impact their businesses. * Understand the *** brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging through all events. * Provide post-event wrap ups and reports using *** Analytics and Dashboards, and share insights to improve future event performance.

Required Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree, with 3-5 years event management, project management and/or marketing experience. * Exceptional project and time management skills - highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, and accountable. * Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, as well as superb listening skills, with an ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to a variety of audiences. * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive work independently, working with deadlines in a fast paced environment. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a solid ability to deal professionally with senior executives, vendors, and team members at all levels of the organization. * Ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Experience working with or for an event and/or production agency * Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) / cloud computing / tech marketing experience a plus * Strong IT skills with a desire to learn new technologies to improve current processes. In-depth experience and proficiency withGoogle Products, Slack, ***, Microsoft Office products, etc * *** application functional knowledge
