Senior Event Marketing Specialist
to join our client's marketing team at a leading manufacturing company in the Northern Chicagoland suburbs. This
Senior Event Marketing Specialist
will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of trade shows, industry conferences, and company-hosted events that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
Senior Event Marketing Specialist Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive event marketing strategies aligned with business objectives Manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including budgeting, vendor coordination, logistics, and on-site support Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, and marketing) to ensure event goals are met and aligned with overall marketing strategy Oversee the creation of event materials, including signage, presentations, promotional items, and digital content Analyze event performance and ROI, providing post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements Negotiate contracts with venues, vendors, and third-party service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality Stay updated on industry trends and competitor event strategies to continuously innovate our event approach
Senior Event Marketing Specialist Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field 5+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in the manufacturing or B2B sector Proven track record of managing large-scale events, trade shows, and conferences Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal stakeholders and external partners Proficiency in event management software and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Cvent) Ability to travel as needed for event execution
