Position Summary: This recruitment will be used to fill ten part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Creative & Design Services Team Member positions for the Printing and Mailing Services at Oregon State University (OSU).

Marketing Services and Solutions DAM Creative team is looking for Creatives!

(student graphic designers, illustrators, animators, photographers, and video editors) to join our creative team.

Position Duties

Graphic Designers:

  • Design and produce marketing materials such as flyers, posters, banners, digital ads, impact reports.
  • Collaborate with the DAM Creative team to ensure that all designs meet the program’s needs and brand standards.
  • Contribute to the visual design aspects of DAM Creative web presence and promotional campaigns.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.

Photographers:

  • Capture high-quality photographs of programs, events, and activities, ensuring coverage of key moments and features.
  • Edit, process, and prepare photos for marketing materials, social media, and web content.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure that photos are integrated effectively into various design projects.

Video Editors:

  • Develop and edit video content highlighting programs, events, and promotional efforts.
  • Assist in the planning, filming, and producing video projects, ensuring content is engaging.
  • Work with the team to produce videos that effectively tell the story of DAM Creative's impact and offerings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
  • Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
  • Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard:
    • High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program.
    • Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term.
    • Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term.
    • Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term.
    • Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • Working towards a degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, Visual Arts, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience in the field is encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design, photography, or video editing, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.), and other relevant multimedia design and editing tools (such as Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, proactive attitude, and a willingness to take on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work flexibly and solve complex problems with visual solutions.
  • A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
