About Us:

We are a brand new, dynamic video and podcast studio in Midtown dedicated to delivering high-quality content for clients including corporate, commercial, social, live stream and more. Our team is passionate about providing next level turnkey service for our clients and creating engaging experiences through audio and visual media. We are seeking an experienced Audio and Video Technician to join our team and help us elevate our productions in studio.

Job Description:

As an Audio and Video Technician, you will play a crucial role in the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio and video equipment within our studio. You will ensure seamless production for podcasts, live streams, and video recordings, working closely with our creative team and talent.

Must have experience in a studio setting, control rooms, Dante operations, Audio Boards and more.

Must be able to work on site at our midtown studio location Monday through Friday. Some early/late days and weekend work as needed for productions.

Key Required Experience and Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Setup: Set up, test, and troubleshoot audio and video equipment, including microphones, cameras, mixers, and teleprompters.
  • Control Room Operations: Setup and maintain the control room with feeds from all three studios, in-house viewing, live and pre-recorded video and remote guests with IFB or Mix Minus. Ability to switch or run live streams would be great too!
  • Remote Guest Management: Facilitate connections with remote guests using video conferencing software and ensure high-quality audio and visual integration. Able to use programs like Riverside, Restream, Streamyard, Vmix, Streamlabs etc.
  • Talent IFBs: Provide in-ear feedback (IFB) for on-screen talent, ensuring clear communication during recordings and live sessions.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical support during shoots and troubleshoot any equipment issues that may arise.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and inventory checks on all audio and video equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to meet production goals and timelines.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in audio and video production, preferably in a studio environment.
  • Strong understanding of audio equipment, video cameras, lighting, and live streaming technologies.
  • Proficiency in using teleprompters and managing remote guests.
  • Experience with live streaming platforms and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
  • Knowledge of broadcasting standards and best practices.

Requirements
