Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and boost sales for both the restaurant, bakery and the gift shop. This role requires a mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution across digital and traditional marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning - Collaborate closely with business leaders to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and budgets. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying target audiences, and setting measurable goals to drive business growth and brand awareness.
- Social Media Management - Oversee, create, schedule, and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms to promote our menu, events, and gift shop offerings.
- Content Creation - Direct and sometimes develop compelling graphics, photos, and videos to showcase our food, products, and guest experiences, ensuring a consistent and appealing brand image.
- Digital Marketing - Spearhead the maintenance and updating of the website, ensuring, menus, promotions, and events are current. Lead SEO optimization efforts to enhance online visibility and drive traffic. Additionally, design and execute email newsletters and text message campaigns to keep customers informed about promotions and events.
- Advertising & Promotions - Plan and execute digital and traditional ad campaigns, including social media ads, Google Ads, and local print ads.
- Event Promotion - Help plan and market in-house events, holiday specials, live entertainment, and seasonal promotions.
- Community Engagement - Foster relationships with local and regional businesses, influencers, and media to increase brand exposure and partnerships.
- Event Promotion - Lead the planning and marketing of in-house events, holiday specials, live entertainment, and seasonal promotions to drive attendance and engagement.
- Loyalty & Customer Engagement - Assist with loyalty programs and customer review management, responding to feedback to enhance guest experience.
- Analytics & Reporting - Track and analyze marketing performance, using insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality, retail, or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and engagement strategies.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and video editing software is a plus.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and website management (WordPress, Squarespace).
- Understanding of digital advertising, SEO, and Google Analytics.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills to create engaging content.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
