What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate receipt of new approved music documentation in collaboration with Music Development and Music Operations
- Assist in preparing new artist contracts and contract renewals, ensuring 100% accuracy
- Manage music files to ensure they are signed off and available for use promptly
- Execute administrative tasks including data entry and file management within the music operations team
- Monitor copyright compliance and collaborate with internal teams to address any issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in an arts/music organization
- Strong computer skills, including MS Outlook, Google Drive, Word, Excel, Tableau, and Cortex
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with artists and understanding music industry contracts and copyright
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems and digital service providers (DSPs)
- Knowledge of copyright laws and experience in managing copyright compliance
- Experience with DDEX standards
- Background in music-related fields is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in music business, communications, or a related administrative discipline
