The Marketing Manager will drive South Slope’s marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals while enhancing brand awareness, attracting new customers, and retaining existing ones. This role will also focus on building and strengthening relationships with local communities, emphasizing South Slope’s commitment to community engagement. The Marketing Manager will oversee social media, content creation, and all creative materials, ensuring brand consistency. By leveraging data and marketing tools, the position will optimize efforts to deliver measurable business growth.

Core Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the company’s business goals and objectives, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth. Lead the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and effectively engage the target audience. Lead and manage team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster a high-performing team culture. Set clear expectations, monitor progress, and ensure the team’s work aligns with strategic priorities. Oversee the creation of high-quality content for marketing initiatives, including websites, social media posts, email marketing, advertisements, and promotional materials. Ensure all content is consistent with the company’s brand identity and tone. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Use data insights to optimize strategies, improve customer engagement, and achieve business objectives. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve campaign objectives. Identify and leverage tools, platforms, and technology to streamline processes and maximize ROI. Work closely with other departments, including sales, customer service, and leadership, to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with broader business strategies and customer needs. Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies. Use this knowledge to inform marketing campaigns and ensure the company’s offerings are positioned effectively in the marketplace. Ensure consistency in the company’s brand messaging across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints. Collaborate with other teams to ensure all internal and external communications reflect the company’s values and mission. Oversee marketing events, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities, ensuring they are planned and executed successfully to maximize impact and ROI. Regularly report on marketing campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to refine strategies and improve future initiatives. Collaborate with the Director of Customer Experience to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with customer feedback and satisfaction goals, ensuring the voice of the customer is always considered in marketing efforts. Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience in managing cross-functional marketing campaigns and driving business growth. Strong understanding of customer-centric marketing strategies and the ability to leverage data for optimization. Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Hours per Week: Full-time, hourly; Hours will primarily consist of M-F 8a-430p with occasional nights and weekends due to community events and occasional travel. Work Environment: Must be able to work in an office setting. Must have the ability to stand and sit continuously. Must be able to operate office equipment including a computer/laptop, calculator, scanner, telephone etc. Must work occasionally outdoors due to community events. Physical Demand/Essential Job Functions: Standing for prolonged periods of time. Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Lifting/Pushing/Pulling (Occasionally). Stooping and Squatting (Occasionally).
