Freelance Operational Production Manager / Technical DirectorFull Stop Productions in conjunction with Running Subway Productions and West Wall Exhibits, LLC seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, freelance Production Manager / Technical Director looking to support the pre-production, install and deinstall of a variety of museum and entertainment projects. A qualified candidate will work closely with in-house producers and project managers, design staff, and business development associates, to produce detailed 3D drawings and layouts, spec equipment and crew calls, and manage the load-in and load-out for live events, museum experiences, and theatrical productions across the USA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In collaboration with the venue and artifact lender, lead all production departments and actively manage the comprehensive on-site load-in, set up, strike and load-out of the various events (including but not limited to labor/carpentry, AVL/networking, and art handling) – all in a hands-on capacity with each team as required.Coordinate and execute effective scheduling and labor planning that aligns with production requirements and venue responsibilities.Identify, manage and communicate logistical and equipment needs in partnership with business development, project management and local venues to ensure production needs are met.Work within closely defined budget parameters.Coordinate the design layout, modeling, annotation, and itemization of stage structures and effects for museum, attraction, and live entertainment events and ensure documentation of as-installed conditions.Attend meetings as required.Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, Live Entertainment, or Engineering a plus but not required.Proven experience managing a crew to load-in and load-out events of various size and complexity.Proven knowledge of fabrication techniques and equipment.Proven knowledge of audio, video, lighting and multimedia design and programming.Ability to safely operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, fork lifts, scissor lifts, personnel lifts, telehandler and other machinery and equipment required to load in and out the exhibit while following industry standards for installing events that are open to the general public.Proven experience working under strict timelines and in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills.CAD and VectorWorks/3D modeling experience.Self-motivated and driven to seek out information and ask questions.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule during times of peak business demand.DURATIONSALARYAPPLY BY EMAIL 083b5110-b9fb-4ee7-a1b9-8f2ed6b21058…*
