Position Summary
Part of the Wine and Spirits division of Constellation Brands, this role is part of the International Leadership team (ILT), with responsibility for the Kim Crawford and Ruffino Brand Management and oversight of their in-market execution globally. Ongoing brand health is a key priority of this role along with the ongoing growth and profitability. Balancing the art and science of brand building with commercial excellence will be key to the success of the role. Creating and sustaining a team environment of empowerment, innovation and learning will also be critical.
Responsibilities
Brand, General Management & Consumer StrategyFunction as a key member of the ILT in driving long and short-term strategy and growth across all international brandsPortfolio Strategy - Determining the role of each brand within the portfolio (master brand architecture), allocating resources accordingly and using insights to drive growth through recommended target consumer, brand-level product mix, packaging, merchandising strategy, and improved customer relationshipsPricing Strategy - Establishing portfolio and brand pricing strategy in partnership with RGM and Sales to achieve long-term growth and CBI financial objectivesBrand Business Strategy - Setting long term vision and strategy for portfolio of brands/sub-brands, rallying internal and external partners. Consistently evaluating brand health and making recommendations to continuously improve, stretch, and innovate the brandAccountability for the Brand P&L from top to bottom lineAbility to understand all levers of the business including financial, sales, innovation, operations etc., and integrate/lead them in problem solvingWorking with operations and winemaking to ensure the best quality product for our consumer targetsWorking with the CET (Commercial Enablement team) and MET (Marketing Enablement Team) to align to channel guidance and strategiesLead process of brand innovation from concept to final execution for KC and oversee brand innovation for RuffinoComms/Media Planning & Execution
Raising consumer awareness, acquisition and loyalty through a variety of marketing tactics both in the traditional and digital spaces and through hospitality at the wineriesAgency Management - Manage, motivate, communicate, and give effective feedback to the network of agency partners. Working with Procurement to evaluate and optimize agency partnerships against brand objectives as requiredCreative Strategy & Development - Providing a vision and clear guidance when working with agency partners to create and evaluate compelling brand content, inclusive of succinct feedback to get best in class work to create content that enables the brand strategyMedia Strategy, Planning & Execution - Developing a clear strategy of which audiences to target in which channels, including timing and budget, in collaboration with media partners, and understanding how to use technology to enable media strategiesChannel Planning & Execution
Distributor Planning & Execution - Understand distributor business models and provide annual marketing plans to Sales and Logistics teams to enable planning at the local level ensuring consistency with brand plans through local executionLeadership
Contribute to the acceleration of CB International by participating actively and effectively in the ILTCreate and sustain a culture of empowerment, innovation, learning, continuous improvement and safetyInstill a constructive culture across the team ensuring collaboration and teamwork as primary driversPromote and role model the Constellation Brands Values of People, Entrepreneurship, Customer Focus, Integrity and QualityProvide strong strategic and operational leadership across the region, ensuring a disciplined approach and alignment with the Constellation Brands Strategic ImperativesEnsure company policies and legal guidelines are upheld and communicated/ cascaded throughout the organizationMinimum Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience15+ yrs CPG marketing-related experience (tactical & strategic), ideally with some general management experienceStrong commercial and/or brand building acumen in the luxury goods spaceAt least 3 years at a Director + level, ideal candidate would already be experienced at the VP levelExperience managing multiple brands and direct reportsProven desire and ability to think strategically and creatively, coupled with financial acumen and strong analytical / problem-solving skills and bottom line P&L managementPreferred Qualifications/Experience
Master's degreeAdvertising experience with TV and secondary mediaBeverage alcohol industry experienceExperience and/or knowledge of international wine & spirits markets (i.e. have lived and worked outside of the US and/or had responsibilities for markets outside of the US)Experience working with multiple distributors and languages and knowledge of the three-tier distribution system in the US marketSkills Required

The salary range for this role is:$167,700.00 - $360,900.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
