PLAYMAKERS HOSPITALITY GROUP & SUMMERLAND MARKETING ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OVERVIEW
Responsibilities for this role will include social media posts, social and website content creation and editing, promotions and campaign planning, and event scheduling. PM membership (eventually), customer outreach and satisfaction (fielding reviews) will be key in growing in this role. Basic tech support as needed. You will be a key part of a team looking to expand our base of support and develop a growing audience.
THIS IS THE BAR INDUSTRY, a sense of humor, grace under pressure, and efficient multitasking skills recommended.
However, disrespect from patrons to your person will not be tolerated.
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or comparable software required, basic photography, basic video and social live streaming is desired. We know this job sounds like a lot, we won't lie to you, you'll be busy. However, you won't be alone! This job is to assist our on site marketing assistant with in-house promotions and assist our ON site owners and management staff with the same. This is a salaried position. Salary depends on experience.
NOTE
IF you are the right candidate with enough hospitality industry experience and can handle a multilocation role, you will be considered above base level applicants.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist marketing director in on-site promotions for guests at multiple locations.
o Playmakers Locations x2 (second location coming soon).
o Sidelines x1.
o Fire Mountain Grill x2 (on site not, Clark County location required twice a month). o PNW Pizza Company & Backroads Pub and Grub x1.
o Summerland Catering (on site not always required).
Help create content for ongoing posts and promotions (posts are a few times a week).
o Graphic design capabilities.
§ Familiar with Adobe Suite, Canva or comparable software.
o Basic photography skills.
§ Know rule of thirds and can frame a “noun” (person, place, or thing).
o Social media knowledgeable (posting through Business suite or willing to learn posting flatform).
§ Facebook and Instagram.
§ Snapchat (not required but preferred or willingness to learn).
o Print & collateral knowledge (preferred but not required, willingness to learn).
Basic web design skills.
o Willingness to learn new platforms a MUST
o Front end web skills a must
Basic tech support and AV skills.
o Know how to plug in an HDMI cable.
o Know how to plug in a networking cable.
o Can restart a computer
Google Drive and Office 365 knowledge a MUST.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Two-year degree minimum or working experience based on the “Duties and Responsibilities” above (you will be tested).
Valid driver's license and insurance.
Valid WLCC server card and Health Department of Washington Food Handlers card (you will not be serving however it is needed to work behind the bar on various items)
Vaccinated against Covid-19 preferred butNOT REQUIRED.
