Aspire Health Alliance is hiring a Behavioral Health Clinician who will also serve part-time as Manager, Clinical Applications User Experience. This hybrid role combines direct client care with supporting and improving clinical systems like Avatar and Bell’s AI. The clinician will help design, implement, and train staff on EHR systems, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and user-friendly.
By blending clinical insight with technical expertise, this role aims to enhance documentation, billing, and service delivery. A licensed clinician serving as a technical trainer will help ensure the integrity of system changes and training, leading to smoother implementation and better outcomes for staff and clients.
Clinical Responsibilities (50%)
- Deliver high-quality behavioral health services including intake, assessment, treatment planning, and risk management.
- Maintain therapeutic relationships, apply diverse modalities, and uphold ethical practices.
- Engage in case consultation, supervision, and coordinate care with community and internal providers.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with standards.
Technology & Systems Responsibilities (50%)
- Act as SME for Avatar EHR system and serve as lead liaison across superusers, IT, and clinical teams.
- Support form/workflow development, testing, training, and user experience enhancements.
- Lead onboarding and training for clinical staff to ensure user adoption and EHR efficiency.
- Participate in strategic planning, vendor coordination, and system optimization.
- Facilitate communication and feedback on system updates and issues.
This role requires 50% of weekly hours in clinical direct care and 50% in system support and training.
Required Skills
- Licensed behavioral health clinician with experience in clinical settings.
- Strong understanding of EHR systems, especially Avatar.
- Effective communicator with skills in training, supervision, and project coordination.
- Analytical mindset capable of leading system testing and improvements.
- Empathy, systems awareness, and commitment to usability improvements.
Education
- Licensed or license-eligible Behavioral Health Clinician (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW). Master's degree required.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience providing direct care in behavioral health.
- Understanding of clinical workflows, documentation, and service delivery.
- Familiarity with Avatar EHR and learning new technologies.
- Experience in training or onboarding clinical staff is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
