Associate Designer - Girl's Woven & Knits Our client, a well known fashion brand in NYC, is looking for a creative
Associate Designer for Woven & Knits
to join their Girls team on a contract basis!

Responsibilities Work closely with Design team to oversee processes from concept through production stages. Utilize Illustrator to develop CAD flats, fill, and sketch. Create line sheets for design collections and edit as needed. Assist in research of seasonal trends, colors, raw materials, styling and trims. Oversee sample maintenance. Prepare presentation boards and design decks. Utilize research to forecast evolution on said trends within brand identity. Communicate seasonal concept/design intent to factories. Request preliminary treatments and mock-ups. Generate tech-packs with clear silhouette, garment construction, and trim information. Assist with decisions regarding prints, fabrics & trims. Participate in weekly fittings. Qualifications Apparel Design degree & 3+ years experience in woven and knits. Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel. Flex PLM experience is a plus. Detail oriented and able to work in fast-paced environment. Technical sketching and CAD ability. Please submit your resume & portfolio for consideration.
