Lead Audio Visual Technician
to work at The Meritage in
Napa, CA .The compensation for this Lead Audio Visual Technician role is $25-$27 an hour, depending on experience.What the Lead Audio Visual Technician would do:Position requires the candidate to be versatile in all AV disciplines.Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and oversee team members in their daily duties.Strong communication between team members, clients, and hotel staff is a must.Client-facing role with essential customer interaction and great customer service.Prep, set, and strike audio-visual equipment while keeping inventory updated at all times.Consistently track inventory and ensure orders are completed in a timely fashion.Operate AV equipment with a full understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications.Determine equipment shortages while preparing equipment orders and offer substitutions.Maintain open lines of communication with management at all times.Follow strict guidelines and adhere to a rigid schedule.Represent INSPIRE in a professional manner and follow grooming and attire policies in place.Continue our long-standing respectful relationship with clients and hotel staff.Work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where input is always appreciated.Protect company equipment as if it were your own and report any damages to the respective personnel.Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.Perform any other duties that are assigned.What your background should be:Experienced with audio-visual technology.Strong customer service and overall communication skills.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds independently.Understanding of professional dress standards.Comfortable with passing a background check and drug screen.What we always look for:A self-starter who can lead but also works well with others.An excellent organizer, good communicator, and motivator.Service-oriented individuals who are always willing to help the team.A hard worker who doesn’t mind working long hours and holidays.Flexibility to handle change well.We offer a competitive benefits package for full-time employees, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage, Life Insurance, Disability, Paid Time Off / Holidays, 401(k), paid Parental Leave, along with additional voluntary benefits available to all full-time employees at
