Req#: 278071 Employer Industry: Publishing Why consider this job opportunity: Salary range up to $115,000 Eligible for annual profit awards or bonuses based on company results Comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans Opportunity for career advancement and the chance to lead marketing efforts for best-selling authors Supportive work environment with a focus on mentoring and developing junior talent Work within a leading publishing house with a diverse catalog of titles and authors What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): Manage and mentor a small team of marketers overseeing 30-40 title campaigns yearly Lead marketing efforts on 2-4 major titles per year, collaborating with authors and cross-functional teams Create and execute innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns for a variety of titles Analyze sales patterns and consumer insights to inform marketing plans and promotions Research and explore new marketing tools and strategies to leverage current marketplace trends What is Required (Qualifications): Minimum five years of experience in trade nonfiction book marketing; minimum seven years for Director level Proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns from strategy through end-product Excellent copywriting and communication skills for engaging with authors and stakeholders Experience in managing and mentoring junior talent with a focus on feedback and development Proficiency in key marketing strategies and tools, including digital advertising and social media How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Strong interest and knowledge of current trends in nonfiction book marketing Experience with analyzing key marketing metrics and consumer insights Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment while managing multiple tasks We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
