We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Librarian to lead the development and implementation of impactful programs and services for teens and adults. This role is responsible for curating library collections, facilitating educational initiatives, and fostering community partnerships to enhance engagement and accessibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in library science, program coordination, and public service, with a passion for lifelong learning and literacy advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage diverse library programs that support literacy, education, and community engagement.
• Oversee collection development, ensuring materials align with the community’s needs and interests.
• Provide research assistance, technology support, and resource recommendations to patrons.
• Collaborate with local organizations to expand outreach efforts and community partnerships.
• Supervise assigned staff and volunteers, ensuring efficient daily operations and service excellence.
• Maintain program records, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for library leadership.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Library Science (MLS) or completion within 18 months of hire.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a library or related setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with program development, community outreach, and patron services.
• Proficiency in modern library technologies and research tools.
