The Content Marketing Specialist supports Brohn Homes by developing, managing, and executing marketing programs that enhance the company's visibility and community engagement. The Content Marketing Specialist will focus on producing and curating creative content for social media, website updates, and blogs, while also managing social media engagement on behalf of the brand. A key aspect of this role is ensuring that all content reflects Brohn Homes' dedication to building homes, providing exceptional experiences, and fostering meaningful connections within our communities.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Management: Produce and manage content for various channels, including social media, blog posts, and website updates. This will involve writing engaging blog posts, creating social media content, taking photos and videos of our team, customers, and completed homes, and managing updates to our WordPress website. The role will focus on creating high-quality content in-house, ensuring all materials align with Brohn Homes' brand and goals.
- Social Media Management: Oversee Brohn Homes' social media presence by creating posts, managing the content calendar, and engaging with followers. This role involves monitoring activity, responding to inquiries, joining conversations, and actively promoting Brohn Homes' community engagement efforts. You will collaborate with the internal team for feedback and support, ensuring content aligns with our brand strategy and goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, design, and operations, to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and company goals. Additionally, you will work with external agencies and freelancers as needed, ensuring that all content is on-brand and consistent with Brohn Homes' voice. You will also work closely with the internal marketing team to maintain consistency across all content.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track the performance of marketing campaigns and social media activity, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for strategic shifts. Collaborate with the internal team to identify continuous opportunities for improvement, optimizing future campaigns and enhancing overall marketing effectiveness.
- Internal Marketing & Community Engagement: Support internal marketing initiatives that strengthen our company culture and communicate Brohn Homes' commitment to giving back. In addition to sharing these efforts, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in community outreach, aligning with our mission to make a positive impact both inside and outside the company.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content is consistent with Brohn Homes' brand guidelines and communicates the company's mission and values effectively.
- 2-4 years of marketing experience, with a focus on content creation and social media management
- A proactive work ethic with the ability to manage high productivity, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fun, dynamic team environment
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in blog development and content creation
- Proficient in social media platforms and community engagement
- Experience in capturing photos and videos using a mobile phone for content creation (no formal production experience required)
- Experience with WordPress for website content management
- Proficient in Canva; experience with Creative Suite is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, managing shifting priorities and projects
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- This is not a remote position, but you'll have the opportunity to visit our communities and engage with teams in the field, ensuring you're not tied to a desk 100% of the time
