Position SummaryThe University of Georgia Center for Teaching and Learning is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for instructional media to serve as our next Coordinator of Instructional Media Resources. The CTL is a unit of the Office of Instruction, and has a central mission to provide leadership, collaboration, and support on instructional matters across the university.
The Coordinator of Instructional Media Resources will report to, and work closely with, the Director of the CTL in managing the instructional media resources and inventory of the Center. They will supervise the CTL South Instructional Plaza front desk, video and audio recording and editing suites, instructional media equipment checkout pool, and media duplication services. They will oversee management of classroom and center inventory, including consumable materials for installation in classrooms and a small fleet of state vehicles used by the center for instructional media and classroom technology support services. They will also train campus stakeholders and center clients on the selection and use of instruction media equipment for a wide array of classroom and event applications.
The ideal candidate will have additional skills in project and program management, inventory oversight, and multitasking. They should have excellence communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Other desired skills include an applied understanding of instructional media technology, experience troubleshooting instructional media equipment, the ability to set goals and collect data to track progress towards those goals, and a proven record of collaboration and customer support. This position operates Monday - Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the expectation for flexibility when needed to meet deadlines and provide support for the Center.

Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/ResponsibilitiesInstructional MediaManages and oversees the CTL One Button Green Screen Studio, Learning Glass studio, and editing/audio suite. Engages in PR for these services to promote awareness and use of these spaces by instructors across campus.
Consults with external sources regarding instructional media support in higher education contexts for benchmarking purposes.
Provides training and consultation to campus stakeholders on the use of instructional media, and to provide information about available resources for classrooms and events.
Oversees the scheduling, distribution, and setup of media equipment, accessories, and software for checkout and delivery.
Manages the CTL media equipment and software booking system, Medianet, including its operation, maintenance, and staff training. Also liaises with Medianet for vendor services as needed.
Oversees the rental of instructional media equipment to CTL clients and works with the CTL business manager to ensure timely invoicing.
Provides recommendations to the CTL director regarding the purchase of additional instructional media inventory, based on emerging instructional media needs.
Oversees CTL's duplication services and works with the CTL business manager to ensure timely invoicing.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesCTL InventoryCollaborates with the CTL director, business manager, and CTL classroom support leadership to ensure consistent and reliable tracking of all CTL inventory, in keeping with best practices. Serve as unit administrator for the inventory tracking system, Panda, and oversees inventory reconciliation.
Oversees maintenance of vehicles used by CTL staff in classroom support, media, and production services areas. Manages vehicle gas cards and WEX reporting, oversees preventive maintenance of vehicles, and communicates with CTL staff about vehicle storage and parking changes, e.g., for game days and other campus events.
Conducts an annual inventory scan of CTL and classroom inventory.
Oversee surplus of CTL inventory as needed.
Provides periodic reports to the director on CTL inventory, including the classroom support stockroom, vehicles used by CTL staff, and the instructional media checkout pool.

Establishes and communicates procedures and trains front office staff on South Plaza operating protocols, including opening and closing procedures, greeting visitors, responding to calls, handling drop-ins, and general emails. Provides training support for front office staff to serve as backup support for other CTL front desk support persons (e.g., North Instructional Plaza front desk).
