Position Summary
Energizer Holdings is seeking an experienced project manager for the in-house Creative Design team. The ideal candidate will work directly with cross functional teams to facilitate and coordinate successful launches of key marketing initiatives such as new products and innovations through consumer-facing creative solutions.
We are looking for an organized, strong communicator, capable of supporting cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and complete. This person should also be capable of working within a marketing-led organization as priorities will be driven by brand marketing strategy.
This person’s main role will be to support the Global category brands and creative teams by leading the day-to-day administration, coordination, tracking and support of strategic projects within the in-house Creative Design team. Project scope will vary widely from large, long-lead, cross-functional product launches to fast, tight-turn requests.
Responsibilities will include building and refining go-to-market timelines, maintaining project management tools, resource management, organizing project meetings to ensure prompt delivery and managing between-meeting follow ups so project deliverables are met.
Responsibilities
3-5 years of experience ideally in team and project management, ideally in a creative setting such as agency, print production, digital content development, eCommerce, media, or product development
Solid track record of working in a product management and/or category role in consumer goods
Experience teaming cross-functionally and working effectively in a matrix organization
Strong understanding of digital and print creative workflow processes, scheduling, and trafficking
Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to deal directly with a variety of clients and needs
Proficient in Workfront, or similar project management software
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Possess an expert knowledge of creative deliverables, capabilities, and processes
Proactive and self-directed, capable of taking initiative and using excellent judgement
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration globally and across all professional levels
Ability to voice concerns and make tough, unpopular decisions
Team player mindset, committed to maximizing team and department performance with positive attitude
Strong attention to detail, organization skills, follow-up abilities, and an ability to act with urgency and accuracy
Strong sense of curiosity, and ability to ask the right questions to get vital information

Experience with integrated creative workflows
Creative or technical agency experience desired
Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
CPG Background preferred
What we are looking for
Track workflows to drive progress and ensure efficiencies and high-quality deliverables.
Manage the administration of creative design projects, including development of designs and artwork for new products in line with global designs and guidelines.
With Manager, review and approve client requests, project briefs, and timing for team assignments
Assess bandwidth of designers and provide regular input of creative resource allocation
Field, evaluate, and quickly respond to requests by defining project resource requirements and negotiating assignments with functional managers
Refine and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and oversee projects of all sizes and budgets from concept to completion;
Ensure project feasibility and manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
Communicate with stakeholders at all levels to lead kickoff meetings, project reviews, and ongoing project updates
Ability to manage all aspects of creative production from project inception to completion
Serve as primary point of contact for business units on project requests and updates
Work with all levels of internal business partners to answer project questions and manage expectations including communicating process changes or activities that could impact deliverables
Navigate internal organizational structure to successfully meet business needs and project completion
Serve as liaison between internal business partners, internal creative agency, as well as external agencies
Drive timely completion of projects by trafficking through the workflow process
Identify risks and develop strong contingency plans to meet original commitment
Provide awareness of trends and feedback to Project Management team to support continuous process improvement
