Responsibilities:
Develop innovative and proprietary post-production processes including editing, vcx, and animation
Develop innovative content creation strategies to enhance production processes
Oversee photo and video editing, manipulation, and final production stages
Provide guidance and mentorship to creative teams to ensure cohesive workflow
Collaborate with other departments to streamline production operations
Drive business development efforts to expand our creative services
Collaborate with other departments to support a seamless workflow and corporate structure
Drive business development efforts to expand services and partnerships
Experience:
Prior Leadership and/or Executive experience preferred but not required
A minimum of 5 years post-production experience at a high level (professional experience not required - be UNDENIABLY GREAT!)
Proven experience in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant software
Excellent skills in photo/video editing, manipulation, and video production techniques
Prior experience in a leadership role within a creative or production environment
Ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Proven track record in strategic planning and execution
Strong operations management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation
Experience working within a startup preferred but not required
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
Skills:
Strategic planning: Ability to develop long-term plans and set goals aligned with organizational objectives
Negotiation: Proficiency in negotiating contracts and agreements with external partners
Operations management: Ability to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Software department
Process improvement: Knowledge of methodologies for analyzing processes and implementing improvements for increased efficiency and quality
Senior leadership: Ability to provide guidance, support, and direction to young and developing creators
Project management: Proficiency in managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals
Business development: Knowledge of strategies for expanding services, establishing partnerships, and driving growth
