AV Warehouse Manager
based in New Jersey. The client is in the AV industry and typically does corporate events and live events such as festivals and concerts. They are looking for someone to become a leader of the Warehouse Staff and help with running the logistics of the warehouse.
Increase your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.This position will consist of, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:Creating and delegating daily warehouse tasks to each departmentOpening the warehouse for daily operationsOrganizing and managing space and personnel for in-shop crew callsResponsible for all inbound and outbound trafficContinually evaluating all warehouse staff as well as participating in training, hiring, and firing of staffTracking and monitoring all equipment inventory from shop to show and back to the shopEnsuring that all gear is brought up to proper specification and is 'show ready'Creating instruction manuals and procedures for new employeesCoordinating with the logistics department for all events/shows/load in/shop callsEnsuring that the warehouse is kept organized and clean on a daily basisEnsuring that all company paperwork is completed timely, accurately, and in accordance with company requirements. Some examples include, but are not limited to, order forms, pick tickets, delivery/return rental agreements, shipping documents, vendor packing lists/invoices, and all other operation formsIdentifying and implementing procedural changes that improve the department's overall performanceQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesWork well under hard deadlines; ability to plan department workflow accordinglySolid understanding of department production equipment and functionality5 years of experience working with various production equipment (Audio/Video/LED/Lighting/Rigging/etc.)Strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a time-sensitive production environmentRequired Education and ExperienceExperience in an Audio, Video, Lighting Inventory environment preferredGeneral computer knowledge (Inventory systems a plus)Minimum 5 years of applicable experience
